Cabruca Consortium

This is Cabruca! An authentic chocolate made by the Southern Bahia Chocolate Producers Association.

For three centuries, our people have cultivated cocoa naturally, preserving the environment and boasting the greatest biodiversity, even surpassing that of the Amazon Rainforest, by planting our cocoa, known as Cabruca, carefully under the shade of the Atlantic rainforest trees.

As a result, our chocolate, the most sustainable chocolate in the world, is exceptionally tasty, with a unique terroir. We do not use any chemicals, relying solely on what nature provides.This commitment to quality and sustainability has earned our region 16 silver and gold medals at the London and New York Chocolate Academies.

Now, through the Cabruca Consortium, we are dedicated to creating opportunities for local producers to share their greatest treasures with the world: our delicious chocolates, crafted by small family-run factories, embodyng commitment to preservation and a solidarity-based economy.
